From Zero to 45:

One year ago when I decided to get fit & start improving my health I was only able to do about two modified push up’s. Even though I did participate in some cardio exercises fairly regular I still felt weak. Today I completed three sets of 15 full pushups! I’ve gone from zero to 45. My fitness goals are expanding as I get stronger and I’ve made this a regular part of everyday life. I’ve always been a happy optimistic person, but now my outlook and attitude in all aspects of life is now exhilarated! I’m thankful to have such a dedicated and knowledgeable trainer who makes sure you’re following safe techniques, and helps push you in the right direction based on your own physical abilities. I’ve made some new friends that share a lot of the same fitness goals and it’s also a great “date night” with hubby! – Rose McHenry

Reasons I  joined Ascent Fitness & Conditioning:

* It keeps me motivated! Scott is always enthusiastic but expects me to practice.

* He individualizes my program for my changing needs. For example, I show horses and was having trouble mounting my horse. He devised an exercise using the block and smith bar to reproduce me stepping into the stirrup and holding the mane to pull myself up from the ground. It allowed me to mount the right side of my horse from ground at shows where mounting blocks are not allowed! He also incorporated core and balance exercises that heve helped me when riding.

* Since working with Scott I am able to keep my muscles toned, strong, and in balance. I am a better rider and much more athletic!
